Dallas Stars Off to a Promising Start

Colorado Falls Behind Early

The Dallas Stars are off to a promising start to the 2020-21 NHL season, having won their first two games. In their first game, they defeated the Colorado Avalanche 6-2. The Stars then followed that up with a 4-1 victory over the Arizona Coyotes.

Stars Surge Ahead

In both games, the Stars jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. Against the Avalanche, they scored three goals in the first period and added three more in the second. Jamie Benn led the way with two goals and an assist, while Roope Hintz added a goal and two assists.

Against the Coyotes, the Stars scored two goals in the first period and two more in the second. Tyler Seguin led the way with a goal and an assist, while Miro Heiskanen added a goal and an assist.

Colorado's Comeback Bid Falls Short

The Avalanche tried to mount a comeback in the third period against the Stars, but they were unable to score more than one goal. Nathan MacKinnon scored the lone goal for the Avalanche, while Philipp Grubauer made 26 saves.

The Stars will look to continue their strong start to the season when they host the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday night.
